The industry norm is sending you hourly invoices and expense reports, leaving you with the burden of booking and reimbursing the travel expenses for all locum providers. At medtigo, we are different. Our all-inclusive rate system offers a standard hourly rate by specialty, shown on a monthly invoice. We book and pay for all travel and other usual per diem costs, so you don’t have to.
Our cross-credentialing system allows us the flexibility to be able to backfill a shift should an emergency arise with one of our providers. We will always be the solution to your problems, not one of your problems.
We believe that searching for clinically competent and technically skilled providers just isn’t enough. We have an extensive vetting process that allows us to bring on reliable, respectful, and friendly providers who understand that practicing medicine is a team sport.
Every medtigo provider is part of an extensive vetting process that begins with our recruitment team. The team obtains supervisor, peer, and nursing references on each candidate while completing a full background check. We screen candidates for emotional intelligence and superior interpersonal skills. Our new recruits speak to other physicians in our group to determine if they are a fit. Finally, before joining our team, the clinician has a one-on-one conversation with our clinical leadership.
Many of our providers are dual or triple-board certified. For example, a division of our Hospitalist group are dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Our critical care doctors are boarded in Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine and our highly trained APP team can work in the Emergency Department, on-the-floor as a Hospitalist, and in the Intensive Care Unit caring for critical patients.
Our APPs are highly trained and certified to work in multiple different departments. Not only are they able to run codes independently and perform advanced procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central line placement, and chest tube placement, but they can also work in a variety of settings, including the Emergency Department, on the floor as a Hospitalist, or in the Intensive Care Unit, caring for critical patients.
We understand that your staffing needs can change quickly. We offer contracts for flexible staffing, allowing you to flex up or down as your needs change. There are no long-term minimum shift requirements with our group.
Our permanent placement rate is $10,000 for Physicians and $5,000 for APPs.
